Delegates at the Guyana Women & Girls Summit

GWAGS · Guyana Women & Girls Summit

A Summit for Every Woman. A Future for Every Girl.

Held in recognition of International Women's Day — a national platform to celebrate achievements, address challenges and advance opportunities for women and girls in Guyana.

About the Summit

A Summit for Every Woman. A Future for Every Girl.

The Guyana Women & Girls Summit was created by the Women's Chamber of Commerce and Industry Guyana as a platform dedicated to celebrating, empowering and advancing women and girls across Guyana. The Summit brings together women in business, professionals, entrepreneurs, students, young women, policymakers, community leaders, advocates and allies for a day of dialogue, learning, connection and inspiration.

Over the years, GWAGS has explored issues affecting women's participation and advancement across society, including leadership, entrepreneurship, economic opportunity, gender equality, workplace equity, STEM, personal development, safety and access to support.

When women and girls are empowered, communities thrive, businesses grow and nations prosper.

That message has remained central to GWAGS as it continues to evolve each year in keeping with the international themes for International Women's Day.
